Diaper Cake Stand
This cake stand is part of the post on the “You’re My Sunshine” diaper cake. This is made out of cardboard boxes that I had lying around.
For this project you will need the following:
- Cardboard Boxes
- A circular cutter
- Scrapbook paper
- Glue
- Transparent tape
- Card stock paper
- Packaging tape
- Ruler
- X-acto knife
First, take the circular cutter and set it to 11.5″ and cut a round circle
Next, cut five 3.5″ squares using x-acto knife.
Tape all 4 sides of the squares using packaging tape. Then tape the 5th square to the bottom.
Then tape the square to the middle of the circle that was cut from earlier. Cut some scrapbook paper equal size to the box.
Glue all 4 sides of the square and place scrapbook paper to cover that ugly box. Use the transparent tape along the edges if you need to.
Take a card stock paper and roll a diaper inside it. Use tape to secure.
Cut slits on one end of the cylinder and fold it outward. Place the cylinder to the center of the circular cardboard.
Use some packaging tape to secure.
